A 61-year-old man has been arrested following a renewed investigation into Stuart Coldicott's death, linked to a decade-old head injury.

Stuart Coldicott, known as Stewie, suffered a serious head injury in February 2014 in Colchester, which left him paraplegic.
After his death in March 2024, a post-mortem examination established a causal link between the head injury and his death.
Essex Police launched a fresh investigation, uncovering new evidence that led to the arrest of a 61-year-old man on suspicion of murder.
The original investigation in 2014 could not conclusively link the injury to a specific assault, although a related assault led to a conviction.
Mr. Coldicott's family remembers him for his humor and requests privacy during their time of grief.
