Arrest Made in 1984 Anthony Littler Murder Case

A 58-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the 1984 murder of Anthony Littler near East Finchley Underground station in north London.
The arrest comes days after the Metropolitan Police launched a new appeal for information surrounding the unsolved murder.
Anthony Littler, an executive officer with Customs and Excise, was found with head injuries in an alleyway after leaving the station.
The arrested man has been bailed until January pending further inquiries.
Detectives are still appealing for witnesses and are re-examining original statements from the case due to a lack of surviving forensic evidence.
