Around 2000 Argentinians Dressed as Spider-Man Attempt to Break Guinness World Record

Organized by influencer Uki Deane, the gathering also collected non-perishable food donations for local charities and awaits official review from Guinness World Records.

  • Around 2,000 people, organised by influencer Uki Deane, dressed up as Spider-Man in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as Spider-Man. The current record is held by Malaysia with 685 participants.
  • The event took place at the Obelisk monument in Buenos Aires, where participants wore various interpretations of Spider-Man's costume, including the traditional skin-tight blue costume and red mask.
  • In addition to breaking the record, participants also collected non-perishable food to be donated to local charities in Argentina.
  • Deane reported having collected more than 1,000 signatures from participants and had many photos taken as evidence for the record attempt.
  • The record attempt is still awaiting official review and verification from Guinness World Records.
