- TRADOC held an inactivation ceremony Sept. 26 at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, where its colors were cased with Chief of Staff Gen. Randy A. George presiding.
- The inactivation takes effect Oct. 2, when Army Futures Command will also stand down at the University of Texas at Austin as T2COM activates with headquarters in Austin.
- Lt. Gen. David M. Hodne has been selected to command the new U.S. Army Transformation and Training Command.
