Army extends football coach Jeff Monken through 2027

Monken has received a contract extension through 2027 from Army.
The new deal will pay him an average salary of over $2 million per year.
Monken has led Army to 8+ wins in 5 of his 10 seasons as head coach.
He has an overall record of 66-50 at Army.
Prior to Army, Monken coached at Georgia Southern and was an assistant at Navy and Georgia Tech.
