Overview

  • The 2025 Senior Contracting Officer and Directors Acquisition Training took place July 29–August 1 at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio.
  • Maj. Gen. Doug Lowery, Brig. Gen. Freddy Adams, Clay Cole, SES, and Command Sgt. Maj. JennyAnne Bright joined brigade-level leaders for hands-on contracting scenarios.
  • The exercise served as a preparatory phase for MICC’s larger annual contracting event, reinforcing alignment with the Army Transformation Initiative and higher command guidance.
  • Participants engaged in simulated acquisition challenges designed to test adaptability and streamline contract management processes.
