Army Chief to Review IAF’s Combined Graduation Parade on June 14

Marking the commissioning of the 215th flight course, the ceremony will feature awards, wing presentations alongside aerobatic performances.

Overview

  • General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff, will be the reviewing officer for the parade at Air Force Academy Dundigal.
  • The CGP will signify the completion of pre-commissioning training for flight cadets across all branches of the Indian Air Force.
  • Graduating cadets from the air force, navy, coast guard and one officer from a friendly foreign country will receive ‘Wings’ and the ‘President’s Commission’.
  • The top cadet in the flying branch will lead the parade and receive the President’s Plaque along with the Chief of the Air Staff Sword of Honour.
  • Aerobatic displays by the Akash Ganga team, Air Warrior Drill Team and fly-pasts by PC-7 Mk-II, SU-30 MK-I, Hawk and Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team will punctuate the ceremony.
