  • General Upendra Dwivedi accepted Jagadguru Rambhadracharya’s demand to reclaim Pakistan-occupied Kashmir as 'guru dakshina' during a May 28 visit to the Chitrakoot ashram.
  • The Army chief signalled readiness to deliver an appropriate response to Pakistan after receiving initiation in the Ram Mantra from the seer.
  • Operation Sindoor, launched on May 7 in retaliation for the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, struck nine terror bases in Pakistan and PoK and eliminated over 100 militants.
  • Top brass including Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi and Air Force Chief Marshal AP Singh coordinated closely with General Dwivedi in planning and executing the strikes.
