Army and Navy have revealed special uniforms for the upcoming Army-Navy game on December 9 at Gillette Stadium.
Army's uniforms, named 'Rock of the Marne', honor the 3rd Infantry Division and its role in Iraqi Freedom. The uniforms feature 'Rock of the Marne' printed on the helmets and the mascot of the 3rd ID, 'Rocky the Bulldog'.
Navy's uniforms, named 'Silent Service Uniform', are dedicated to the U.S. Submarine Force. The uniforms are navy blue, with hand-painted helmets featuring a Virginia Class Submarine and the traditional Navy anchor.
The Army-Navy game could determine the winner of the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy. If Army wins, they capture the trophy for the fourth time in seven seasons. If Navy wins, the race for the award will finish in a three-way-tie, with last year's winner (Air Force) retaining the trophy.
