Armenia’s Pashinyan to Attend Gaza Peace Summit in Sharm el-Sheikh on October 13

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will travel to Egypt on Monday to take part in the Middle East peace summit focused on ending the war in Gaza, his press secretary said.
Egypt’s presidency announced the gathering for October 13 in Sharm el-Sheikh with President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and U.S. President Donald Trump serving as co-chairs.
Pashinyan is attending at the invitation of President Trump and President el-Sisi, according to Armenia’s government.
Axios reported that leaders or foreign ministers from Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Indonesia are expected, though participation lists remain subject to confirmation.
Al-Araby Al-Jadeed reported, citing an unnamed source, that the leadership of the Palestinian National Authority was not invited.
