  • Around 4 a.m., about 20 heavily armed men attacked the Pyelito Kue retomada at TI Iguatemipeguá I, with gunfire continuing until roughly 6 a.m.
  • Vicente Fernandes Vilhalva, 36, was fatally shot in the head, and indigenous residents say the assailants tried to remove his body but were stopped.
  • Four people were injured, including two adolescents and a woman, with reports of gunshot wounds to arms and abdomen and others hit by rubber bullets.
