Overview

• Three masked men carrying a firearm forced entry into an Ardennes Ave home at Edmondson Park at about 1:45am on July 20.
• The intruders threatened and assaulted a 48-year-old man and a 12-year-old boy while an 11-year-old inside remained unhurt.
• The suspects stole jewellery and other valuables before fleeing in their getaway vehicle.
• NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man’s facial injuries at the scene; the children were uninjured.
• NSW Police have set up a crime scene; launched forensic and witness inquiries; there have been no arrests to date.
