Armando Iannucci, creator of 'Veep' and 'The Thick of It,' has launched a new production company called Touchscreen Ltd.
Touchscreen has entered a development partnership with BBC Studios to create innovative scripted programming for the UK and international markets.
The partnership is focused on mentoring and championing emerging British talent, both on and off screen, while producing globally resonant stories.
Iannucci will continue his collaboration with HBO while using Touchscreen to foster new creative voices and ideas.
The agreement was brokered by Lucy Fairney at PBJ Management, with BBC Studios handling the global distribution of co-produced projects.
