Overview
- An XRP Ledger community member reported that Armada voters approved the Evernorth merger on Sep. 30, but Armada, Evernorth and regulatory filings have not yet confirmed the result.
- The deal still must close before XRPN can list, and Evernorth’s disclosed $30 million convertible note financing is conditioned on that closing and is scheduled to be issued at the same time.
- Evernorth’s SEC filings say the combined company expects to hold at least 473,276,430 XRP at closing, built from prior purchases, investor commitments and a Ripple contribution.
- XRP’s price climbed back above $1.50 on Sep. 30 after the reported vote, showing investor sensitivity to progress in the planned Nasdaq listing.
- If completed, XRPN would offer stock-market exposure to a managed XRP treasury rather than direct token ownership and investors should watch final cash from redemptions and Nasdaq’s remaining listing decisions.
