Arizona Teen Outsmarts Predator, Leads to His Arrest

A 14-year-old girl used quick thinking to give a potential predator her mother's number, enabling police to intercept and arrest him.

The incident occurred on October 16 in Glendale, Arizona, when the teen was approached by 37-year-old Isaiah Navarro.
Navarro, driving a red vehicle, asked the girl for directions and then requested her phone number.
Instead of giving her own number, the girl provided her mother's, allowing police to take over the communication.
Detectives, posing as the teen, engaged Navarro in graphic text exchanges and arranged a meeting.
Navarro was arrested at the arranged location and is now facing charges including luring a minor for sexual exploitation.
