Andi Norton, who identifies as they/them, discovered a Lego piece in their nose that had been lodged there for 26 years.
The discovery was made while Norton was blowing their nose in the shower, following their doctor's advice to use steam to clear nasal passages.
Norton had experienced multiple breathing issues, including asthma and sleep apnea, which they now attribute to the lodged Lego piece.
The toy piece got stuck when Norton was six years old, and despite their mother's efforts, it remained unnoticed for decades.
Norton shared their experience on Instagram, expressing relief and amazement at finally being able to breathe freely.
