Arizona Police Rescue Infant After Hostage Standoff Ends in Fire

A 6-month-old baby was shot multiple times by his father during a standoff in Surprise, Arizona, before being rescued by police.

The suspect, Todd Christopher Marchetti, broke into the home and held his child and the child's mother hostage.
The mother escaped and alerted a nearby construction crew, who called 911.
Police entered the home amidst gunfire, rescuing the critically injured infant.
A fire broke out during the standoff, and Marchetti was later found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
