Arizona Man Reunites with Missing Dog After Eight Years

Paul Guilbeault lost his dog, Damian, in 2017 during a cross-country move from Massachusetts to Arizona when the dog slipped his leash in Oklahoma.
After years of searching and posting about Damian online, Guilbeault thought he might never see his beloved pet again.
Earlier this month, an Oklahoma resident found Damian wandering and brought him to a veterinarian, where a microchip scan revealed Guilbeault's contact information.
Guilbeault and his husband drove 14 hours to Oklahoma to reunite with Damian, who is now 13 years old but still recognized his owner immediately.
Guilbeault credits Damian's microchip for their reunion and encourages all pet owners to microchip their animals.
