• Glendale police say the fatal shot was fired during a dispute between pickup drivers at a red light near 51st Avenue and Camelback Road late on Aug. 15.
• Yarely Ashley Hermosillo, 27, was an uninvolved passenger; her boyfriend drove her to a hospital as her young son and mother, who were in the back seat, were uninjured.
• Detectives tracked the suspect vehicle using multiple cameras, recovered two handguns during a search, and arrested Dousten at his Glendale apartment.
• Dousten faces counts of second-degree murder, aggravated assault, weapons misconduct and endangerment, and remains in custody as the investigation continues.
