Overview

• The 2025 AFL opens Oct. 6, features a Home Run Derby on Nov. 8 and Fall Stars Game on Nov. 9 at Sloan Park, begins playoffs Nov. 13, and crowns a champion Nov. 15.
• Thirteen MLB Pipeline top-100 prospects are slated to play, led by Tigers shortstop Kevin McGonigle and Rangers shortstop Sebastian Walcott.
• The Royals assigned catcher Blake Mitchell, shortstop Daniel Vazquez, outfielder Carson Roccaforte and five pitchers to the Surprise Saguaros.
• The Rangers’ group includes Sebastian Walcott plus Dylan Dreiling and Malcolm Moore, while the Mets placed prospects on the Scottsdale Scorpions with Rene Rivera managing and the Astros highlighted Walker Janek as James Wiseman serves as Scorpions pitching coach.
• The Rockies will send eight players to the Salt River Rafters with pitching coach Flint Wallace, and the Mariners’ Peoria Javelinas contingent is led by outfielder Jonny Farmelo with Quinn Cleary on the staff.
