Aristocratic Couple on Trial for Newborn's Death

Constance Marten and her partner, Mark Gordon, are on trial for the death of their newborn baby, who died while the couple were on the run in freezing conditions.
The couple had previously had four children taken into care and are accused of concealing the birth of their fifth child, cruelty, manslaughter and perverting the course of justice.
The baby's body was found in a shopping bag in a disused shed, covered in rubbish.
The couple allegedly went 'off-grid', living in a tent with hardly any clothes, no means of keeping warm and dry, and with scarcely any food.
The couple deny all charges and the trial continues.
