Google’s Oct. 13–19 snapshot shows a surge in civics queries days before the Oct. 26 legislative vote.

  • The fastest-rising questions asked why voting matters and what legislative elections are, alongside how to vote with the paper ballot, when the campaign blackout begins and where to vote.
  • Issue searches were led by work, salary, pensions, education and security, followed by economy, energy, debt, cost and inflation.
  • Search activity was heaviest in Buenos Aires province, the capital, Córdoba, Santa Fe and Mendoza, with Mendoza showing the fastest growth in voter-roll lookups.
  • Many users sought candidates’ party affiliations, including queries about Lilia Lemoine, Diego Burlando, Facundo Manes, Fernando Gray, José Luis Espert, Maximiliano Pullaro and Diego Santilli.
