Overview

  • July registrations reached 62,123 units—a 44% year-on-year rise to the best July since 2018—driven by top sellers such as the Toyota Yaris, Fiat Cronos and Toyota Hilux.
  • Year-to-date registrations hit 388,680 units, a 71.5% jump over January–July 2024.
  • July gains were broad-based with motorcycles up 33.9%, light cars climbing 57.4%, light commercial vehicles rising 22.5% and heavy trucks increasing 19.7%.
  • Buenos Aires province and the Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires accounted for 28.8% and 18.1% of registrations respectively, together supplying nearly half of the national total.
  • Expanded model availability and zero-interest loan offers narrowed the price-to-salary gap, underpinning the mid-year rebound across all vehicle categories.
