- Eduardo Gerling, 50, from Concordia, died after his Volkswagen Amarok collided frontally with a Mirtrans truck near km 2022 of Ruta 2 between Rodó and Santa Catalina around 6 a.m.; the truck driver, 56, was uninjured.
