Overview

  • As of July 11, the average nominal annual rate for 30-day peso fixed-term deposits stands at 30.50%, yielding ARS 75,205.48 on a ARS 3,000,000 placement.
  • Individual banks quote rates from 26.5% TNA at Banco Masventas to 36% at Banco del Sol, where a ARS 500,000 deposit earns ARS 15,000 in interest.
  • Banco Nación and other lenders now offer remunerated dollar savings accounts paying about 2.10% TNA on balances up to USD 10,000 with daily liquidity.
  • Dollar fixed-term deposits deliver yields from 2.5% for 30-day terms up to 5.5% for 365-day placements, although funds remain locked until maturity.
  • Savers rely on the BCRA’s TEM reference table and online simulators to compare rates across dozens of banks and balance liquidity with inflation-hedging goals.
