- On August 9, the Argentine Army released photos and videos showing nine soldiers and their Indian guides posing with both flags at Monte Kun’s 7,077-meter summit.
- The ascent began at 22:00 on August 4 from a 4,515-meter base camp and reached the peak at 17:30 on August 5 after nearly 20 hours of climbing.
- The joint expedition mobilized 67 people, including nine Argentine soldiers, 17 Indian troops, 11 avalanche-rescue specialists and 30 support staff.
- All participants completed a staged 48-hour descent to base camp and were confirmed in good health with no injuries reported.
