Overview
- October milling reached 448,259 tonnes, standing 138% above the 10‑year October average.
- Exports totaled 243,084 tonnes worth US$156.9 million, up 33% in volume and 35% in value year over year.
- Growth was driven mainly by higher sales of sunflower seeds and oil, according to official data.
- The top destinations included the Netherlands, India, Chile, Uruguay, Oman, Paraguay, the United States, Mexico, Brazil and Colombia, which together took more than 38% of shipments.
