Argentina’s Notaries Hold Free Advisory Day Saturday With Sessions in Buenos Aires, Santa Fe and Salta

Organizers aim to lower costs by offering on-site guidance, with the housing-protection filing available at no charge.

Overview

  • The Consejo Federal del Notariado Argentino leads the 13th Federal Community Notarial Advisory Day on Saturday, November 8, with coordinated in-person attention points across the country.
  • In Buenos Aires City, CECBA will attend without appointments from 10:00 to 13:00 at Av. Callao 1540 in Recoleta under its 16-year "Cuidá lo Tuyo" campaign, including two public talks on health directives (10:30) and marital versus cohabitation regimes (11:30).
  • In Santa Fe province, Rosario and other localities will host free posts from 9:00 to 13:00 in plazas and community spaces, including Plaza Pringles and the Cultural Center Fontanarrosa esplanade, with backup indoor venues in case of rain.
  • In Salta, voluntary notaries will attend from 10:00 to 13:00 at multiple points such as the Colegio de Escribanos (capital), Campo Quijano’s train station, San Antonio de los Cobres’ Mercado Artesanal, Cachi’s municipal hall, Rosario de la Frontera’s municipality and Chicoana’s Patio de Sabores.
  • Guidance will cover property transactions, inheritances, powers and advance health directives, with a special focus on the vivienda protection regime whose free filing is offered during the day; outside the event, media report the procedure typically costs about AR$160,000 plus administrative expenses, and it does not shield prior debts or charges tied to the property.
