Overview

• September recorded 171,364 used-car transfers, the strongest September since records began in 1995, according to the CCA.
• Sales rose 5.45% year over year and 2.29% from August’s 167,525 units.
• Year to date, January–September reached 1,436,656 transfers, up 13.84% versus the same period in 2024.
• Volkswagen Gol/Trend led the month with 9,313 transfers, followed by Toyota Hilux with 6,292.
• Growth was concentrated in interior provinces, led by Formosa (+38.26%), Neuquén (+32.64%), Catamarca (+28.81%) and Santiago del Estero (+27.42%), and the CCA says the full year could top 1.8 million transfers if momentum persists.
