- Friday, Oct. 10 is a feriado nacional across the country, Sunday, Oct. 12 is a regular Sunday, and Monday, Oct. 13 remains a normal workday.
- Several Buenos Aires Province localities declared additional asuetos that extend the break for residents, including Oct. 13 in San Manuel (Lobería), Villa Roch (Tordillo), Garré (Guaminí), Urquiza and Gahan (Pergamino and Salto), Oct. 15 in Tres de Febrero, and Oct. 17 in Luján and Bragado.
- Public administration and banks will be closed on Oct. 10, with buses, subways and trains operating on holiday timetables and supermarkets generally open.
- The move stems from Decree 614/2025, which authorizes the Cabinet to reprogram trasladable holidays that fall on weekends to a Friday or Monday.
- Some official messaging used the term “Día de la Raza,” though media report there has been no formal change to the legally recognized name, Día del Respeto a la Diversidad Cultural.
