Argentina Sets Year-End Pay Update for Domestic Workers With Three-Month Bonus

Employers have guidance to pay the November 1.4% adjustment with a tiered non‑remunerative bonus pending publication in the Official Gazette.

  • The CNTCP agreed a total 2.7% increase for the sector, split into 1.4% for November and 1.3% for December off September scales.
  • A non‑remunerative bonus is set for November, December and January, paying $6,000 for up to 12 weekly hours, $9,000 for 12–16 hours and $14,000 for more than 16 hours.
  • Formal homologation awaits ministerial signature and Official Gazette publication, and employers of registered staff are being advised to apply the November rise and the bonus now with antigüedad and zone differentials where applicable.
  • Provisional grids show updated minima, including personal de tareas generales at $3,095.73 per hour and $379,784.94 monthly with retiro, and $3,340.11 per hour and $422,316.42 monthly without retiro.
  • December will add the 1.3% tranche and the legally required aguinaldo due by December 18, with an estimated $192,356 for general tasks with retiro based on the updated December salary.
