Overview

• The government approved a phased 7.5% increase for military personnel between June and November, bringing total 2025 wage growth to 20.5%.
• Resolución Conjunta 63/2025 of the Defense and Economy ministries defines new pay scales for the Army and naval police with rank-by-rank base salaries.
• Resolución 944/2025 from the Security Ministry establishes updated salaries for Gendarmería Nacional, Federal Police, Prefectura Naval and PSA, including supplements for neighborhood patrol and service surcharges.
• Under the new schedule a Lieutenant General or equivalent Admiral and Brigadier General will earn 2,809,917 pesos monthly by November, while Suboficial Mayor salaries rise to 1,404,956 pesos.
• All adjustments are financed with existing defense and security budget credits to address inflationary pressures and stem prior personnel departures.
