Overview
- Economy Minister Luis Caputo confirmed the Oct. 8 opening of envelopes to review offers for Stage 1 of the Red Federal de Concesiones.
- Stage 1 comprises the Tramo Oriental and Tramo Conexión across RN 12, 14, 135, A‑015, 117 and 174, totaling 741 kilometers.
- The concession model excludes state subsidies, requiring investments, operations and maintenance to be financed through tolls and complementary services.
- BICE will offer the winning bidder a fiduciary guarantee and funding line of up to ARS 56,000 million or 70% of the investment at UVA+2% with up to six years to repay and one year of grace.
- The corridor has been state‑managed since April after the prior contract expired, and reports indicate the new operator could assume control late 2025 or early 2026.
