Overview
- The Ministry of Health set oral evaluations for August 4–5 and a written exam on August 7 for all candidates who scored 86 or higher on the July 1 residency test.
- A joint expert committee from national, Buenos Aires City and Buenos Aires Province health ministries will review each aspirant’s academic trajectory to verify congruence with their exam results.
- Original scores will be preserved if the new result falls within 10 percent of the July score and will be replaced when discrepancies exceed that threshold.
- Internal disciplinary proceedings have been launched and the Ministry plans to refer suspected fraud cases to judicial authorities for further investigation.
- Many affected applicants, especially foreign-trained graduates, have protested that the re-evaluations unfairly target honest candidates and called for focused probes of confirmed misconduct.
