Overview

  • The Health Ministry has scheduled a four-hour, 100-question written retake on August 7 for 141 candidates whose scores of 86 or higher could not be reconciled with their academic records.
  • Under Disposición 61/2025, examinees must use black ink, are barred from carrying any technological devices and will be escorted during bathroom breaks to prevent cheating.
  • Retake scores cannot exceed initial marks, with a permissible 10% downward variance to maintain applicants’ original results.
  • A committee reviewed 268 flagged cases, confirmed 127 valid scores and annulled the rest before launching criminal complaints against suspected fraudsters.
  • These measures aim to protect merit-based selection for approximately 3,400 residency positions contested by over 7,600 applicants nationwide.
