Overview
- Decree 943/2025, published Jan. 2, creates the Focused Energy Subsidy Regime (SEF) covering electricity, natural gas, propane by network and 10‑kg LPG cylinders.
- The three income levels (N1, N2, N3) are abolished and a single beneficiary category is set, limited to households with net income at or below three Canastas Básicas Totales for a ‘Hogar 2’, with data cross‑checks for verification.
- The new ReSEF registry uses existing RASE records so prior enrollees need not reapply, and an official portal (argentina.gob.ar/subsidios) is live; users of garrafas, former Tarifa Social de Gas beneficiaries and specified localities must register.
