Overview

  • The Comisión Nacional de Trabajo en Casas Particulares approved a 6.5% total salary increase, with a 3.5% retroactive adjustment for June and three 1% raises in July, August and September.
  • Non-remunerative bonuses will be paid in July, August and September by weekly hours: 4,000 pesos for up to 12 hours, 7,000 then 6,000 pesos for 12–16 hours, and 10,000 then 9,500 pesos for over 16 hours or live-in staff.
  • A 30% zone disadvantage supplement applies to domestic workers in less-favored provinces including La Pampa, Río Negro, Chubut, Neuquén, Santa Cruz, Tierra del Fuego, Antártida e Islas del Atlántico Sur and Partido de Patagones.
  • All employers must register their domestic workers in the ARCA system using each worker’s CUIL, regardless of contract modality or weekly hours.
  • Detailed pay grids and bonus schedules are now available online under the Ministry of Labor’s guidelines, though the agreement awaits official publication in the Official Gazette for homologation.
