Overview

• The Ahora Que Sí Nos Ven report, covering Jan. 1–Sep. 29, counts a femicide roughly every 36 hours and 287 attempted femicides based on national media monitoring.
• In 40% of cases the perpetrator was a partner, most killings occurred in private homes, and only about 15% of victims had filed prior complaints.
• At least 12 femicides were linked to narcocriminal contexts in the new tally, while a separate monitor now reports 15 after the Florencio Varela triple killing.
