Argentina Raises Funding and Rates for Addiction Care Programs Effective November 1

Officials attribute the overhaul to rising costs and increased demand, with funding drawn from existing Health Ministry budget lines.

Overview

  • Four resolutions (2924–2927/2025) published in the Boletín Oficial update subsidies and aranceles across the national addiction-treatment and community-care network and replace 2023–2024 rules.
  • Resolution 2924/2025 revises personal, non‑reimbursable subsidies for adults 18+ without health coverage, with payments transferred directly to institutions that hold agreements with SEDRONAR.
  • Resolution 2925/2025 increases modular funding for Casas Comunitarias Convivenciales that provide housing, support and social reintegration services for people in high vulnerability.
  • Resolutions 2926/2025 and 2927/2025 update maximum prestational rates and categories for therapeutic devices including case management, outpatient care, day centers, hospital day services and residential communities.
  • New annexed scales set specific amounts, such as ARS 36,450 per day for Category A residential care and ARS 9,700,905 per month for a base module at a community convivencial house, to safeguard service continuity and quality.
