Overview

  • The Secretaría de Educación formalized the second 2026 convocatoria via Resolución 485/2026, with registrations beginning Monday, Aug. 10 for the first line and the process aimed at applicants who missed or were rejected in the first round.
  • Registration windows are staggered by line: Progresar Obligatorio runs 10 August–4 September, Progresar Superior and Progresar Enfermería run 18 August–11 September, and Progresar Trabajo stays open until 27 November.
  • All applications must be sent online through Mi Argentina; ANSES will check household income and eligibility while educational institutions verify student regularity, and applicants must supply a bank account or virtual wallet (CBU/CVU) to receive payments.
  • The 2026 monthly grant is ARS 35,000, paid as 80% (ARS 28,000) each month with 20% (ARS 7,000) retained until proof of academic requirements, and students admitted in this second convocatoria will receive six installments instead of the first‑round twelve.
  • The Ministry also published the August payment calendar with credits starting 13 August and staggered by DNI termination, and officials stress the trámite is free, warn against intermediaries charging fees, and note those already waiting decisions should not reapply.
