• November will feature an extra‑long break from Friday 21 to Monday 24, with Friday 21 designated as a discretionary día no laborable and Monday 24 moving the Día de la Soberanía Nacional.
• Private employers decide whether to grant the November 21 non‑working day, and work performed that day does not trigger the holiday pay rules that apply to national feriados.
• The change leaves inamovible holidays unchanged, with the December 6–8 Immaculate Conception long weekend still on its original dates.
