Argentina Lifts January Pensions 2.47% With 70,000-Peso Bonus as Peru Sets Up to S/100 ONP Increase

Peru's adjustment takes effect in January, reaching payment rolls from February.

Overview

  • Argentina's ANSES applied a 2.47% CPI-linked mobility update for January 2026, setting the minimum pension at 349,299.32 pesos and the maximum at 2,350,453.71 pesos.
  • The 70,000-peso reinforcement continues for low-income beneficiaries, paid in full at the minimum and proportionally up to a 419,299.32-peso cap, with those above the cap excluded.
  • ANSES published a DNI-based schedule with January payments starting on the 9th for minimum-haber and PNC recipients and running through the 29th for those above the minimum.
  • Peru enacted Decreto Supremo N.º 330-2025-EF to grant up to S/100 monthly to ONP pensioners under Law 19990 who have definitive pensions below S/1,000 and, for retirees, at least 20 years of contributions.
  • The ONP increase applies from January 2026 but will appear in deposits beginning in February, as January payrolls were already processed.
