Overview
- Resolution 13/2026 puts the Subsidios Energéticos Focalizados regime into force for electricity, piped natural gas, propane by network, and bottled LPG, ending the prior federal social gas tariff.
- The new ReSEF registry draws on RASE data, will be run by the Subsecretaría de Transición y Planeamiento Energético, and allows updates online or at ANSES offices, with up to six months to migrate Programa Hogar beneficiaries.
- Eligible households receive a 50% discount on electricity within defined blocks—300 kWh in summer and winter and 150 kWh in shoulder months—with higher summer caps of 370 kWh and 550 kWh in IRAM 11603 “cálidas” and “muy cálidas” zones in the NOA/NEA.
- For gas by network, the 50% subsidy applies only from April through September, and there is an extraordinary 25% bonus in January 2026 for both electricity and gas.
- Application on bills hinges on new wholesale price resolutions and data from ENRE and Enargas, with reporting indicating a February start is expected though further administrative delays are possible.
