Overview
- Decree 943/2025, published January 2, creates the Subsidios Energéticos Focalizados to unify national support for electricity, network gas, network propano and 10‑kg LPG bottles.
- Eligibility is capped at household income at or below three Canastas Básicas Totales (about $3.77 million using November 2025 data), with cross‑checks via SINTyS, and RASE enrollees move automatically into the new ReSEF.
- Subsidies apply to defined base volumes: electricity at 300 kWh in January, February, May–August and December, and 150 kWh in March, April, September–November; gas keeps existing seasonal blocks concentrated in April–September.
- Discounts include a general 50% bonification on base consumption and a 2026 extraordinary bonus of up to 25% that declines monthly; certain nonprofits keep bonifications on their total consumption.
- The decree repeals the Gas Social Tariff and the Programa Hogar, instructs ANSES to migrate beneficiaries within six months, and tells ENRE and ENARGAS to adapt tariff tables, with the timing for January bills still unclear.
