Argentina Keeps Domestic Worker Base Pay Unchanged for October as Talks Stall

Temporary bonuses from the last 6.5% agreement ended this month, reducing take-home pay until the CNTCP reconvenes bargaining.

Overview

  • CNTCP has not called a new paritaria, so October uses the same basic wage tables set for September.
  • Resolution 1/2025 delivered a cumulative 6.5% raise from June to September and three non-remunerative bonuses of roughly ARS 4,000–10,000 that ceased in October.
  • Official minima remain in force: for example, supervisors with retiro are set at ARS 3,683.21 per hour or ARS 459,471.73 monthly, and the full-time floor is ARS 374,541 per month.
  • Workers in the designated zona desfavorable receive a 30% premium in La Pampa, Río Negro, Chubut, Neuquén, Santa Cruz, Tierra del Fuego (Antártida e Islas del Atlántico Sur) and Buenos AiresPartido de Patagones.
  • Rates differ by job category and by retiro versus sin retiro, with a mandatory 1% per year antigüedad and proportional pay for those working fewer than 24 hours per week with the same employer.
