The partnership positions the country to help steer regional SMR deployment under IAEA-aligned standards.

Overview

  • Argentina and the United States will co-preside a regional FIRST conference on small modular reactor deployment in Buenos Aires in 2026.
  • As a contributing partner, Argentina will support FIRST activities worldwide through projects, study tours, training programs and other technical assistance.
