Overview

  • Argentina recorded 62,123 new-car registrations in July 2025, up 44% year-on-year, marking its strongest July since 2018 and lifting January–July sales to 388,680 units, a 71.5% increase.
  • Spain’s market logged 98,337 new-car registrations in July, a 17.1% year-on-year rise and its fifth straight month near 100,000 units, bringing cumulative sales for the year to 708,139, up 14.3%.
  • Electrified vehicles in Spain surged 155% in July to 21,002 units and accounted for 21.4% of all new-car registrations.
  • Argentina’s sales rebound has been underpinned by economic stability, broader model availability and expanded financing, while Spain’s recovery has depended on Moves III and Reinicia Auto+ incentives.
