Argentina Fuel Sales Fall 1.16% in July, Ending Four-Month Growth

Premium fuels gained share, signaling a consumer shift despite uneven provincial trends.

  • Total July volume reached 1,447,866 m³, down 1.16% year over year but up 2.17% from June.
  • Premium grades expanded strongly, with gasoline premium up about 12.5% and premium diesel up 9%, while regular gasoline fell 1.11% and grade 2 diesel dropped 12.19%.
  • Tierra del Fuego led provincial gains at roughly 9.7%, whereas Tucumán posted a sixth consecutive decline at about 19.3%, with notable drops also in La Rioja and CABA.
