Argentina Formalizes Six-Month Salary Scale for Military and Naval Police

It locks in fixed pay increases through November under Decree 101/1985 authority after advisory commission review

  • Resolución Conjunta 63/2025 was published on August 5 to replace the March–May pay scale with a stepped salary adjustment for Armed Forces and Policía de Establecimientos Navales personnel.
  • Monthly rates for top officers will climb from $2,647,231 in June to $2,809,917 in November, while the lowest ranks move from $575,163 to $610,510 over the same period.
  • The phased rise accounts for a 7.5% bump between June and November and brings total military wage growth to 20.5% in 2025.
  • The update was issued under the powers of Decree 101/1985 following review by the public-sector salary advisory commission and legal services of the Economy and Defense ministries.
  • Additional costs for the six-month pay tables will be covered by credits within the Defense Ministry’s budget under the national public administration appropriations.
