Argentina Formalizes October AR$70,000 Pension Bonus as ANSES Sets Payment Calendar

The government frames the relief as targeted support for the lowest incomes given marginal CPI-linked increases.

Overview

  • Decree 700/2025, published in the Boletín Oficial, confirms an extraordinary AR$70,000 payment in October for low-income retirees and pensioners, credited with monthly benefits.
  • The inflation-linked mobility update of about 1.88–1.9% lifts the statutory minimum to roughly AR$326,298, taking the minimum plus the bonus to around AR$396,298.
  • The bonus is non-remunerative, not subject to discounts, and paid proportionally for those above the minimum up to a cap near AR$390,277, with only one bonus paid per benefit.
  • ANSES released the DNI-based payment schedule starting Wednesday, October 8, and indicated some October 10 credits may shift because the national holiday was moved to that date.
  • Separately, the administration relaunched Beneficios ANSES with automatic debit-card reintegros at participating stores (10% general, 20% on cleaning and perfumery, plus 5% with Banco Nación), which it says are financed by private partners and could total up to AR$120,000 per month depending on program caps.
